The Universal Language of Music
Music is a universal language! It’s one language we all understand – the universal language of music. It’s a gift from the Gods. Can you imagine the power of music?
Music connects with my soul. It has been with me on this journey called life. You know every person is connected to music. We all have our playlists or mixed tapes (oh dear I am giving my age away. Yes, I still have cassettes) for every feeling.
What happens when you listen to music?
You start listening. Your body comes alive. Your feet start to tap. Slowly your shoulder starts to sway. Your head bobbing. Sitting or standing you ride the with beat. Like a magical spell the music takes over your body. Dancing to the rhythm of the song. Its only you and the music. Every lyric transporting you to a place of joy, hope or peace. Music can uplift and energise you. It can make you feel so so good. That yummy mushy feeling of love and happiness.
Every feeling invokes memories of sad or happy moments. Every song has the power to connect you to some deep emotion in your hearts and soul. At the same time healing you. It inspires.
The Power of Music: To Feel, To Heal & To Connect
“Let us go on a ride with those songs.
Those songs in our playlist,
Make us alive once more.
Those beats make our heart rejuvenate,
And let us connect to our feelings.
Those lyrics became our best partner,
When we were in need.
Those words became the power,
That makes us heal.
Those lines couple with our emotions,
And let us sense ourselves.
Those words have the power,
To cure our soul.
That song made you cry,
And made your heart lift those burdens.
That song made you happy,
And made you rejoice the beauty within.
That song made you dance,
And made you healthy once again.
That song is always there,
To make us enjoy every moment.
To celebrate life big events
And to cherish our best memories.
So, don’t you want to say Thank you to all those songs in your playlist? Who were always there to help you in need.
Say, Thank you to them for partnering with you in your crimes and happiness.
Say, Thank you for letting your emotions flow when your heart needed them the most.
Say, Thank you for letting you dance and enjoy all those droplets of words.
Say, Thank you for just being there!!!
